I'm Ben, I live in the Mooliabeenee area on a farm with my family. I started this business in 2020 when I noticed that there was no local IT support for the area.
(2021-2025) I worked for Shire of Gingin as their sole IT Officer. I supported 100+ employees with devices along with the infrastructure that supports all the services they provide.
(2016-2020) I worked for Apple providing direct support to customers with Macs, iPhones, iPads and others.
Prior to that, I've done contract IT work for a mining company in which I supported Windows PCs and the associated infrastructure.
I've done formal technical training with Cisco and Microsoft for their products.
The name "The Dude Named Ben" seemed appropriate given my name, but in addition to that its also the stereotypical name of an IT guy that fixes stuff in the background. The phrase was popularised by the No Agenda podcast when they were discussing the clip below.
